Our Practice

Philosophy of Care
Each patient is a unique, whole person — we do not just treat body parts. All medical problems come in the context of your entire life, including your social, family, work, mental, spiritual and medical environments. We want to know how to help you as the complete person that you are.

Holistic medicine is the art and science of healing that addresses care of the whole person — body, mind and spirit. The practice of holistic medicine is focused on optimal health, the prevention and treatment of disease by mitigating causes and is based on the belief that unconditional love is life’s most powerful healer.

Evaluation and Treatment
All of your body systems are in constant internal communication and adjustment. While also providing routine gynecological services, we have extensive experience treating women’s hormonal and menopausal concerns as well as men’s hormonal issues including aging, strength and weight gain.

Understanding these issues requires evaluation of pituitary, ovary, testicle, thyroid and adrenal gland functions. On your initial visit, we will take a complete history and perform a physical examination. Hormone evaluation will be administered as needed, generally through blood testing but sometimes with saliva or urine. Follow-up visits and hormone testing will ensure your hormonal balance while on any prescribed medications.

We are familiar with all hormone therapies, including commercial products available from chain drug stores and medications made by local and national compounding pharmacies. We strive to find the solutions that best suit your individual needs and preferences.
